Rename Cards are not easy to come by in PUBG Mobile, which makes a broken name an expensive mistake. Our PUBG stylish name generator gives your name brackets, crowns, squad tags and bold letters, and this guide shows how to test it first.
Every name change in PUBG Mobile uses a Rename Card, and those are not always easy to get. We show you how to test a name properly before you use one, so the card is not wasted on a name that looks broken.
How the PUBG Stylish Name Generator Works
The generator places your name inside symbols, changes its letters, or both. “Chicken” becomes 〖Chicken〗 with lenticular brackets, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 in bold and ᴄʜɪᴄᴋᴇɴ in small caps.
PUBG Mobile accepts many Unicode symbols in player names, which is why stylish names are so common in its lobbies. The PC version is a different story, and we cover that below.
The PUBG Name Styles That Look Best
This page opens with Battle royale styles, made for games like PUBG Mobile. Here are the ones we like most.
Target and Drop Styles
Target Scope, Drop Marks and Airdrop Flare match the feel of the game, from landing to the final circle. They suit players who want a name that fits the battlefield.
Winner and Crown Styles
Winner Stars, Crown Boss and King of BR give your name a winner feel. They are popular with players who chase top ranks.
Squad Styles
Squad Prefix, Squad Flags and Rush Tag are made for teams. A squad can share one frame and put each member’s name inside it.
Simple Brackets
Lenticular Brackets and Lightning Brackets add only a few symbols. They leave the most room for your name, which matters in a short name box.
How Do You Test a Name Before Using a Rename Card?
A Rename Card is used up when you confirm, so the test happens before that step:
- Create Your Name: Type it in the Your text box, pick a style, and tap Copy.
- Open Your Inventory: In PUBG Mobile, tap Inventory from the lobby and find your Rename Card.
- Tap Use: Tap the card and then Use to open the rename box.
- Paste and Look Closely: Paste your name and check that every symbol shows and the name is not cut off.
- Confirm or Go Back: If it looks right, confirm the change, and if not, close the box and try a simpler style.
Why Is PUBG on PC Different?
PUBG: Battlegrounds on PC uses much stricter name rules. It mostly allows plain letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores, which means stylish symbols are refused.
If you play on PC, the Classic xX style or a name with underscores is your best option. You can still use your stylish name on Discord, YouTube and your stream.
Making Matching Squad Names
Matching names make a squad look organized in the lobby and the kill feed. Pick one frame or tag together, and have one person copy the final version and share it in the squad chat.
Each member then pastes the shared frame and adds their own name inside. Sharing the exact copy matters, because similar-looking symbols can come from different characters.
How Your Name Looks in the Kill Feed
The kill feed shows names for just a moment, and it often cuts long ones short. A short name with a small frame stays readable there, while a long styled name can turn into a blur.
We check new names by watching a few matches with teammates. If they cannot read your name in the feed, a shorter frame usually fixes it.
What Is a Safe PUBG Name to Start With?
Try lenticular brackets or a target scope frame around a short name, and test it in the rename box first. If you play the Indian version of the game, our BGMI Stylish Name Generator covers it.
